Students, mentors, and teachers can tune in from anywhere.
Every Monday, all of Valenture gathers for Assembly. Just like kids would at a traditional school.
But there is one very crucial difference: Assembly is virtual.
This means, students, mentors, and teachers can tune in from anywhere. Their beds, the couch or even, from anywhere in the world.
We have students based in Bulgaria, Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States - just to name a few. Studying alongside global classmates means learners are exposed to different backgrounds, cultures, perspectives and actively learn how to collaborate an interact with each other in a virtual environment.
The way of the future? Nope. The way of now.
This year, if anything, the world taught us that wherever we are, we are all fundamentally the same. And technology can bring us all together to celebrate our differences and commonalities, whether at school or our place of work.
We recently held an Assembly Awards Ceremony, which celebrated student academic achievement at Valenture. Some of our students took home more than one certificate, and we couldn't be more proud of them!
How students celebrated each other's success at this ceremony, truly showed that online doesn't mean being disconnected.
